"Blanked"

Here's a preview shot I worked on this week for a webcomic project that my friend and I are working on, tentatively called "Blanked."


He does the words, I do the pictures. We're just starting the process, really, so it'll be a little while before pages start surfacing. Hopefully, as we get working a little more on this new thing, I'll post some sketches and stuff here also.

So I frequent the Penny Arcade message boards and one of the boards (Social Entropy ++) has an annual showdown between a cadre of members.  The idea is to face off one-on-one, bracket style, and take down your opponent by humiliating them in a publicly viewable format.

I've been playing a lot of Fallout 3 since I got it at Christmas. There sure are a lot of ghouls to de-brain in that game.

So, yeah, it's been a while. I'll post some stuff I scribbled since my last update.

Here's a ninja girl, drawn in ballpoint pen. Hey, I work with what I've got.

And here's a lady with a large blade, a flying serpent pet thing, and an attitude. Technically, this one's a little old. I was doodling while in the waiting room at the hospital, eagerly awaiting the birth of my girlfriend's niece, Bella.

Here's some fairies playing around. Oh, those fairies, how they do love to play.


This was just a random character sketch. I guess he can control fire.


And today, I drew a little Hellboy. Because Hellboy is awesome.
